i painted ‘The Fool.’ while studying abroad at the Burren College of Art over the summer of 2021. I approached the project as my final thesis in my undergraduate academic artistic career. with the exceptions of the first and last pieces, each piece represents a canonical fear of the fairies of Irish folklore. i used that as a framework to explore my own personal emotional journey exploring the Burren.
